Happy Holidays, everyone!!

December 27th, 2016

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday weekend!

We had several requests for additional drop-ins this week, so I’ll be adding a Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30am. I hope that helps and gives you a chance to get all of those Christmas knitting boo-boos fixed. We also have drop-ins on Tuesday evening, 6-9pm, Wednesday evening 6-9pm, and Friday from 9:30-11:30am.

Just a reminder that our hours this week will be as normal, except that we’ll close early on New Year’s Eve (at 2pm). Event registrations are going strong, but there are still openings in each of them for those who are interested but may have wanted to wait until after the Holidays. The Dabble & Babble classes are filling quickly, but it’s not too late, either. You can do all registrations over the phone.

Happy knitting!!

Lori & The Skeins On Main Team

Again…

March 2nd, 2016

Wouldn’t it be a lot more fun to read about all the new spring yarns?  Unfortunately, they can’t arrive when we’re not there because of yet more snow….  But SOON!  In the meantime, here we go again…..

In accordance with our policy… Rochester Community Schools closed (again) due to snow, so we’ll at least be opening late today. The morning (9:30-11:30am) class with Melissa will be canceled and made up on Wednesday, April 6th. We’ll figure out the rest as soon as I hear what the roads are like up in Rochester. Updates will be posted here and on Facebook. We really hope to see you very soon!

Update:  The store will be opening at 11:30 this morning.  The afternoon and evening classes will be held as scheduled.  See you then!

MORE SNOW!

March 1st, 2016

Skeins will be closing at 7pm on Tuesday, March 1st, due to the snow.  Jen’s 7-9 class will be made up on Tuesday, April 5th.  Stay home, stay safe, and happy knitting!

More white stuff

February 24th, 2016

If you haven’t already heard, Rochester Community Schools will be closed on Thursday, 2/25/16. So, as the policy goes, we’ll be closed at least for the morning. At this time, without knowing what the roads are like in Rochester or what they’ll be like in the morning, it’s impossible to let you know how long we’ll remain closed or if afternoon/evening classes will be held. Please check Facebook or our website frequently for updates. We’re sorry for any inconvenience, but my guess is that you’d rather stay home, safe and warm, too.
