For all of you cotton lovers, we just took a big shipment of Sassy Skein cotton, a favorite at the shop, in both DK and Worsted weights. But wait.. There’s more! Just wait until you see their Fantasy Fest yarn that came in, too! It’s dyed to match the cotton, but contains multiple fibers and types of yarns all strung together. It’s much like Prism’s Cool Stuff. Just wait until you see it!!

February 8th, 2013Skeins On Main will be closed today, February 8, due to the weather. We’ll reopen tomorrow for all your knitting and crocheting needs. In the meantime, please stay safe and warm and enjoy the unexpected knitting time.
Update for 1/28/13
January 28th, 2013Lori’s 12-2 class will be cancelled for today and made up on Feb 18th. Several people expressed concern about the road conditions, so we felt it was better to be safe than sorry. However, the store is open at this time and will remain open until 9pm. Hope to see you soon!
Closed Due to Weather
January 28th, 2013Rochester Community Schools are closed this morning due to snow and ice so, in accordance with our snow policy, Skeins, too, will be closed for at least a little while this morning. The 9:30am class with Cris is cancelled for today and will be made up on the morning of Monday, February 18th. Other classes today are expected to run since the roads should clear up before too long. We expect that the shop won’t be closed for very long this morning, but please check back here for details. We’ll open as soon as it’s safe for someone to get there. In the meantime, please stay safe and warm.
