Lori’s 12-2 class will be cancelled for today and made up on Feb 18th. Several people expressed concern about the road conditions, so we felt it was better to be safe than sorry. However, the store is open at this time and will remain open until 9pm. Hope to see you soon!

January 28th, 2013Closed Due to Weather
January 28th, 2013Rochester Community Schools are closed this morning due to snow and ice so, in accordance with our snow policy, Skeins, too, will be closed for at least a little while this morning. The 9:30am class with Cris is cancelled for today and will be made up on the morning of Monday, February 18th. Other classes today are expected to run since the roads should clear up before too long. We expect that the shop won’t be closed for very long this morning, but please check back here for details. We’ll open as soon as it’s safe for someone to get there. In the meantime, please stay safe and warm.
Madeline Tosh has arrived!
November 29th, 2012Today we took a delivery of 864 hanks of Madeline Tosh yarn in 5 weights, nearly 100 different colors, and weighing almost 200 pounds! Doors open at 9:30am on Friday, November 30th… Let the drooling begin (just not on the yarn, please)!

This week, you should celebrate a birthday. Personally, I’ll celebrate my 21st. Yeah, yeah, yeah… I know. ANYWAY…
