There sure is a lot going on at Skeins this week!!
It’s break week for classes, so we have some drop-ins to offer. Drop-in classes are $6/hour, with a one-hour minimum. Bring any project, and any questions… It’s a great way to get out of the house, get the help that you need, and meet some new people. Times are:
Wednesday, 9:30 - 11:30am with Cris
Wednesday, 7 - 9pm with Sue
Thursday, 9:30 - 11:30am with Idy
Friday, 12 noon – 2pm with Laura
Saturday, 10am – 12 noon with Jen
Each day this week we’re expecting to see our favorite UPS man. Today he brought us a few backordered colors of Shepherd’s Wool (been waiting on cream? It’s in there!) and a gorgeous new SPRING yarn. Is that word unfamiliar to you, too? Here’s what I found when I looked it up….
noun: spring; plural noun: springs
the season after winter and before summer, in which vegetation begins to appear, in the northern hemisphere from March to May and in the southern hemisphere from September to November.
“in spring the garden is a feast of blossom”
We’re expecting more yarns each day, and some exciting closures and purse handles from Jul early next week! By the time spring actually arrives, I expect we’ll all be very well-prepared and have multiple sweaters knitted!
