Our Classes & Workshops

At Skeins on Main, our classes are open to knitters and crocheters at all levels - beginners to advanced are welcome to join. Students may bring the project(s) of their choice and will receive instruction as needed. This is a terrific opportunity to learn a new stitch or skill, understand how to read different types of patterns, and build confidence with your knitting and crocheting while meeting new people in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Classes meet one time per week for four weeks. Each class is two hours.

There's recently been a very high demand for times when you can just pop into the store and get some help fixing mistakes in your knitting, so we've brought back our Knit Doctor. Think of this like an emergency room - they'll tell you what's going on, give you treatment options, stitch you up and send you on your way. Fixes will cost $5 for each 15 minutes or portion thereof. Our doc won't be able to teach you to fix it yourself or how to do something new, but she WILL make sure you can knit again by the time you leave.
